VAC-001/VAC-002/VAC-003

This vacuum pump is a compact 1KG pump, designed to work with modern efficient high-performance brake servos. It is ideal for classic vehicles which require extra vacuum as an additional booster to the existing vacuum system or systems which currently don’t have an existing vacuum supply, i.e. systems that have been upgraded or converted to a modern servo.

NB A one way valve is required between the pump and the pressure switch (supplied in kit). Also if kit used in conjunction with a current vacuum source, a second vacuum valve will need to be purchased to stop vacuum leakage into that circuit.

It is important to ensure that your servo and pipes have no leaks.  If your pump is running constantly or repeatedly on and off, it is essential to check thoroughly for vacuum leaks in the system.

 Please note that the switch adjustment is done via the screw in the end of the switch as follows:

•  Anti-clockwise (screw outwards) to increase vacuum
•  Clockwise (screw inwards) to decrease vacuum

Use a make/break diode relay to the switch (as supplied in kit VAC002) – non-suppressed relays will cause damage to the switch as will excessive running of the pump due to poor plumbing/leaks.
