Simtek (UK) always try to ensure that your goods will reach you in tip-top condition. We will advise you immediately of any delay, but usually goods are despatched same day or within 48 hours of receipt of your order. Things that need to me made or modified will have their own lead times which you will be advised of at time of ordering.

If you aren't satisfied with a product that you have purchased from us, a refund will be given or the goods may be exchanged, provided they are returned to us within 14 days of purchase and are in the condition in which they were received.
Generally, goods under 2kg are sent by Royal Mail services (you can select your preference at time of order) and those over 2kg are sent via carrier service.
Information on our products is provided to aid your selection. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the parts ordered are suitable for the purpose for which they were purchased. Simtek (UK) accepts no liability for the mis-application of any goods purchased.
I am outside the UK and don't want to pay VAT
If you wish to order from overseas please contact us if you are outside the EU as this site will automaticall charge VAT. Similarly, if you are purchasing on behalf of VAT registered business in the EU, you should contact us with your VAT details so that we can process your order and invoice appropriately.
We are happy to take back items if you realise you've made a mistake and ordered the wrong item. If this is the case please contact our team and we'll assist you.
If the item ordered was a special order or bespoke item we cannot accept returns in this case.
If the order:
1) Not the item you ordered
2) Does not work as it should or is damaged when you open the package
3) Has a part missing
Please contact us within 24 hours so that we can organise a quick resolution to the problem. Take photographs of the order ouut of it's packaging and a photo of the packaging if damage has occurred enroute.
As regards delivery and replacement costs and who is responsible, this depends on the circumstances of the return and/or replacement.
My parcel hasn't arrived yet, where is it?
Royal Mail usually advise to allow up to 2 weeks for 1st class items although the aim is for them to be delivered in 1 - 2 days.
Our default delivery option for parcels under 2KG is Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery. If a faster delivery is required we recommend you to use Special Delivery on lighter orders which guarantees Next Day before 1pm within the UK Mainland addresses.
I want to pay with my credit card.
You can still pay with your Credit card but it is done through Paypal as a visitor.
